Welcome to my Blog!

I started my career in photography as a military photographer with the Army, starting my training at The Royal Naval School of Photography at RNAS HMS Fulmar, Lossiemouth in Scotland.  When I finished my training I served with the Army Air Corps doing a multitude of tasks from macro, defect photography to infra red, aerial, public relations, studio portraiture, both in black and white and colour. I also served in many different roles of photography from intelligence, public relations, drone locating, and general photography, ending my 27 year career at The Joint School of Photography at RAF Cosford near Wolverhampton.  After leaving the Army I bought a Photographic Business in Scotland (A J Bodies)  and with my wife Jan and son Iain carried on under the revamped name of Bodie's of Banff, we have been in business now for the past 18 years.
